12:15PM – 12:30PM: Welcome Remarks
12:30PM – 1:00PM: Cultivating Brand Loyalty
Efforts to instill customer loyalty can offer significant payoffs since it can cost five times as much to acquire a new customer as to retain an existing one. Loyalty can’t be taken for granted, however. Consumers are highly aware of their options, and a desire for novelty can drive them to try a new option rather than sticking with a familiar one. In this session, we will discuss customer loyalty efforts, revealing the tactics and technologies that have helped this company keep people coming back.
1:10PM – 1:40PM: How Mobile Will Effect the Customer Journey in 2020 and Beyond
The average US consumer spends nearly three hours a day on a mobile device. Given this devotion to mobile, product marketers and retailers must determine the best ways to integrate engaging mobile experiences into the customer shopping journey. Some of the best mobile retail experiences leverage smartphone attributes such as location data, cameras and sensors to enhance the digital or physical shopping experience; others capitalize on a deep understanding of mobile shopping behavior to design engaging experiences. In this session, we will hear insights into how eComm leaders built mobile offerings that are groundbreaking in meeting consumers’ needs.
1:50PM – 2:20PM: Advertising Trends Transforming eCommerce

2:20PM – 2:40PM: Networking Break
2:40PM – 3:20PM: CCPA: America’s First Privacy Law – What it Means for You and Your Business
On Jan. 1, the landmark data law goes into effect, subjecting U.S. businesses to a sea change of privacy regulations. Americans will now have the ability to control how companies selling in or to CA residents collect and keep their personal data. During this session we will discuss what the immediate implications are for eCommerce companies, how it will be enforced and what it means for the future of business and customer data.
3:35PM – 4:00PM: How AI is Changing eCommerce
In the era of cut-throat competition, it is essential that you make the right decisions at the right time. Simply being online, isn’t enough. Consumers expect an ever more seamless, intuitive and personal omnichannel experience—and there’s one emerging technology that is making that possible from the smallest of retailers to the Amazons and Walmarts: artificial intelligence. It is predicted in the next year 80% of all customer interactions will be handled by artificial intelligence (AI). In our final session we will discuss innovative approaches eCommerce companies are using AI to interact with their customer.
