Moderator: Rachel Nyswander Thomas, SVP, Operations & Policy at Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG)

Rachel Nyswander Thomas has spent her career studying, creating and implementing digital policy in the academic, private industry, and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining TAG, Thomas served as Vice President of Advocacy & Accountability at the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), advocating DMA’s data policy agenda before Congress and federal agencies on behalf of thousands of business and nonprofit organizations. She served concurrently as Executive Director of DMA’s Data-Driven Marketing Institute (DDMI), facilitating academic teams in conducting independent research exploring how the responsible use of consumer data shapes industry, society, and the economy.

Previously, Rachel led The McGraw-Hill Companies’ regulatory compliance efforts relating to customer privacy, auditing worldwide operations, training more than 2,000 employees annually and providing compliance consultation to a global corps of 80 Privacy Officials in more than 40 countries.

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts in the Humanities from Yale University and a Masters of Policy Management from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. She has held the Certified International Privacy Professional (CIPP) distinction from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) since 2008. Her scholarship on cybersecurity public-private partnerships has been published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies and Thomson Reuters Press.

Greenfield’s history of technology and marketing initiatives have served blue-chip clients including: GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK), Kimberly-Clark (NYSE: KMB), Sony BMG, Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK), Forest Labs (NYSE: FRX), Plum Creek (NYSE: PCL) and more. Prior to his co-founding and development of C3 Metrics, Greenfield was a recognized thought leader in the area of Branded Content as publisher of Branded Entertainment Monthly, a joint effort with VNU Media detailing industry statistics, gaps, and trends. He’s been a featured speaker at The Next Big Idea, and a news source in: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, ABC, CBS, CNET, and Investor’s Business Daily. Greenfield began his career building a 75-person multi-million dollar practice featured in Chapter 5 of ‘Buzzmarketing: Get People To Talk About Your Stuff’ from Penguin/Portfolio. Greenfield studied Biochemistry at the University of Maryland and holds dual degrees from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He is an instrument rated pilot and holds a class “E” FCC radio operators license (NQ4F).

At DoubleVerify, Drew Weicker is the Group Director, Sales East responsible for revenue across industry verticals. With 14+ years of advertising experience, Drew has led multiple teams throughout the industry. His career started on the agency side at McCann-Erickson, which led to roles at Hearst & WebMD/Medscape. Drew holds an MBA from Fordham and received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown. He lives in NYC with his wife & daughter.

Ian Wallin, VP, Sales, Integral Ad Science

Ian joined in 2014 to head the North American advertiser and agency division of Integral Ad Science. Ian leads the charge in providing top tier support and service to clients ensuring Integral’s products are in line with their marketing goals. He has over nineteen years of digital advertising experience with an extensive background in ad sales, sales strategy and management. Prior to joining IAS, Ian worked at TV and TV Guide Mobile as SVP of Digital Sales, Sales Development and Ad Ops where he was responsible for creating and implementing their first programmatic and mobile sales strategies. Ian holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
