Job: Assistant Integrated Media Planner
Salary: Negotiable

Description: Assistant Integrated Media Planner This key position will provide support to the Integrated Media Planner and team. This role is essential to the day-to-day workings of the client media accounts as well as the media department. It requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. A successful Assistant is a resourceful, self-motivated person that demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for learning - especially about the ever-changing landscape of digital technology. You’ll work with seasoned professionals to understand how to use media to target certain audiences, work in systems to deliver and track ad units and measure the performance of the creative. Responsibilities: • Support team in media plan development across all channels (digital, print, out-of-home, etc) – to collect RFP responses from partners, assist in analyzing proposals and preparing presentations • Maintain stewardship of vital media documents including budget campaign trackers, insertion orders, campaign performance details, etc. • Prepare flowcharts and buy summaries for media plans ? • Work with sales reps to collect the creative specifications of all ad units on the media plan so that the production team can build the necessary units properly • Responsible for tagging and trafficking of all campaign buy and creative elements through the ad server as well as coordination, executing quality assurance (QA) and identifying and solving any issues • Run reports regularly to ensure accuracy and proper pacing of impressions/spend as well as learn to identify opportunities that would improve performance • Meet with sales reps to stay current in the ever-changing media landscape and work with the team to identify new offerings that could add value to our client’s media plans • Work in conjunction with media and finance teams on billing reconciliation • Provide research for and write portions of media Point-Of-Views (POVs) and Media Plan recommendations Requirements: • BS/BA required • Mac and/or PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong writing, presentation and analytical thinking skills? • Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills • Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through • Good attitude and enthusiastic learner • Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests • Strong interest in the advertising industry and new media • Relevant experience a plus PJA likes to figure out the hard stuff.
